Chakras patterns

The chakras correspond to major energy points distributed throughout the body.
"chakra" (चक्र) is a Sanskrit term which means wheel or disc, which implies a movement of energy following these points.

In jewelry, the chakras are most often represented together, most of the time more for the aesthetic than for the spiritual aspect, and in the form of bracelets composed of stone or semi-precious crystal beads, or even (most of the time) synthetic beads.

Except the metal charms, we represent the chakras with two variants, for the purpose of meditation:
- the yantra (geometric figure),
- the mantra (sacred syllable).

The yantra is made up of simple figures:
- the triangle
. pointing down, it is the feminine aspect and the water,
. pointing upwards, it is the masculine aspect and the fire,
- the square, it is the four cardinal points and the earth,
- the circle, it is air.

We cannot display on these pages all combinations of jewels with chakra pattern (with mantra or yantra, with or without petals).
So if you would like, for example, a ring with the 4th chakra Anāhata represented by color, lotus petals and mantra, please do not hesitate to contact us. Tailor-made is our DNA.
As illustrated below by square cabochon simulations, we have already designed these patterns.

For each of the 7 chakras, we indicate its name in sankrit devanāgarī with a translation and different characteristics.

According to the Tibetan saying, there are as many monks as there are religions.
So do not be surprised if what you read here differs from what you have and will read elsewhere, whether it is the word chakra written as such, the colors, the yantra patterns or the mantras.

Representations of the chakras can also vary, depending on the freedom an artist takes. Which is a good thing for creativity!
