Tips for using and upkeeping your necklace
A piece of jewelry is a ceremonial item.
We therefore advise you to remove your necklace:
- when you practice a physical activity (sports, DIY / gardening, etc.),
- before taking your shower and / or putting on perfume.
Water is the universal solvent par excellence. The alcohol contained in perfumes is a much more powerful solvent.
These liquids are therefore likely to interact with your necklace, especially if it consists of a pendant with a glued cabochon.
So whatever the nature of your necklace, wait until your skin is dry.
A necklace is rather fragile. If, for example, you play sports, you risk breaking your jewel as well as injuring yourself.
Even our larger chains, of unwelded 5x3mm link, can break, hence the expression "weak link".
Upkeep
Dilute a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water.
Moisten a cloth in this solution then clean the jewel with it.
Dry your jewel with a dry soft cloth.
